On August 27, the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province held a visitation ceremony, commemorated and buried 30 martyrs' remains and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

30 remains of martyrs traced and buried this time were searched and exhumed by Team K72 at the old Loc Ninh military airport and Phuoc Son commune.
Reading the offerings at the visitation ceremony, Mr. Le Truong Son - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said that all the remains of the martyrs this time have not been identified, their names, ages, hometowns, the few remaining relics are just bottles of essential oils, belts, concrete vases, rubber sandals, hammocks, tanks and weapons, the remaining remains have been mixed into the soil, luckily there are 13 samples of products that are eligible to send DNA testing.
From these few samples of biological products, along with the work of collecting DNA samples of unidentified martyrs being carried out nationwide, we hope to find relatives of martyrs, bringing comfort and soothing some of the losses and pain to the martyrs' families. No matter where you are, I pray that the souls of martyrs should consider Dong Nai as a peaceful land for you to rest in, Mr. Le Truong Son emotionally shared.
From 2002 to present, Team K72 has searched thousands of locations and recovered 3,953 remains of martyrs who died during war in the country and Cambodia to bury at the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery, including 3,242 martyrs' remains collected in Cambodia and 711 martyrs' remains collected in the country.
