Along both sides of the road inside the Presidential Palace, children of the Capital holding flags of the two countries warmly waved to President Lee Jae Myung and his wife and the high-level delegation of South Korea.

In the sound of welcoming music, General Secretary and President To Lam and President Lee Jae Myung advanced to the podium of honor. The military band sang the national anthems of the two countries, and 21 salvos of cannons were fired from Thang Long Imperial Citadel during the welcoming ceremony.
General Secretary and President To Lam and President Lee Jae Myung left the podium, stepped forward to bow to the military flag and review the Vietnam People's Army Honorary Team. Next, the two leaders introduced the composition of the high-level delegations of the two countries to attend the welcoming ceremony.

After the welcoming ceremony, General Secretary and President To Lam and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung held talks; witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation documents and met with the press.
