Behind the numbers is the desire to rise, the spirit of creativity, daring to think, daring to do, contributing to raising the brand of Vietnamese agricultural products.
The General Secretary said that our country is entering a new stage of development, with the historic mission of realizing the two 100-year goals of the nation. The double-digit continuous growth target poses many challenges.
To achieve strategic goals, it not only requires extraordinary efforts and outstanding efforts, but also does not allow delays, laxity, inaccuracy, lack of synchronization, and lack of rhythm in each step.
For the agricultural sector, the Politburo is directing the preliminary assessment of the implementation of Resolution 19-NQ/TW of the Central Committee to make decisions to continue developing agriculture, farmers and rural areas in the coming time.

For agriculture to break through, rural areas to be rich and beautiful, and farmers to be happy, the General Secretary said that farmers need to be placed at the center. Each farmer is a pioneer soldier on the front of food security; a businessman of the land; an "eco- engineer" protecting land, water, forests, and seas; a cultural subject that maintains family discipline, village values, festivals, traditional crafts, and nurtures Vietnamese cultural identity in the flow of integration.
Bringing science and technology to the right center of production
The General Secretary emphasized that science and technology must be put at the right center of production. Scientists should go to the fields, go to the farms, go to processing factories. Enterprises and cooperatives accompany farmers to standardize processes, standardize quality, improve traceability - food safety, meet demanding market standards; constantly innovate to develop agriculture.
Diversify agricultural products, build brands and expand the Vietnamese agricultural product market. Each commune-level unit should set a target of at least one key product with a brand...
Developing green - circular agriculture - adapting to climate, shifting from "expanding output" to increasing productivity and quality, reducing emissions, saving water, fertilizers, and feed. Bioeconomics and agricultural circular economy must become the main direction of advanced new rural areas.

The General Secretary hopes to build civilized, secure and affectionate rural areas; let's work together so that each countryside is truly a "livable land": has sustainable jobs, culture, a clean environment and security and safety.
The General Secretary affirmed that the outstanding farmers and scientists of the farming household must be the spark that spreads the spirit of innovation, the desire to legitimately enrich the community, helping other farming households to rise up together; be the core to build and replicate economic models of cooperation, link production according to value chains, and apply advanced science and technology in production.
