Reporting to General Secretary To Lam on the results of working with senior leaders of Vietnam during the visit, Standing member of the Secretariat and Vice President of Laos Bounthong Chitmany affirmed that the two sides had a very sincere exchange in the spirit of comradeship about experiences in Party building work; assessed the situation of Vietnam - Laos cooperation and discussed and agreed on directions to effectively implement the High-level Agreement between the two Parties and two countries.
Standing member of the Secretariat and Vice President of Laos Bounthong Chitmany informed General Secretary To Lam about the recent situation in Laos; and sincerely thanked the Party, State and people of Vietnam for always giving great support and assistance to the Party, State and people of Laos in the past struggle for national liberation as well as in the current cause of national construction.
The Standing Committee of the Secretariat, Vice President of Laos Bounthong Chitmany affirmed that the Party, State and people of Laos will do their best with Vietnam to preserve and nurture the special solidarity of Vietnam - Laos increasingly blooming and fruiting.
General Secretary To Lam congratulated Laos on the important achievements it has made in recent times, especially the effective implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Congress and its successful assumption of the ASEAN and AIPA-45 Chair positions, thereby enhancing the international prestige of Laos and ASEAN.
General Secretary To Lam affirmed that Vietnam always stands side by side with and supports the Lao Party, State and people in realizing the country's development goals and expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, headed by General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, Laos will successfully implement the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress, building a prosperous and strong Laos.
General Secretary To Lam expressed his delight at the increasingly good development of the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Laos; thanked the Lao Party, State and people for their support and assistance to the Party, State and people of Vietnam and hoped that the two sides would continue to strengthen cooperation for mutual development for the benefit of the people of the two countries, contributing to peace, stability and development in the region and the world.
