On the afternoon of August 19, 2025, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam worked with the Central Steering Committee to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the country in the 3 years 2023 - 2025 (Central Steering Committee).
Also attending the meeting were Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Le Hoai Trung. Also attending the meeting were members of the Party Central Committee, members of the Steering Committee, representatives of leaders of a number of central and local departments, ministries and branches.


Recently, based on Decision No. 12-QD/BCDTW dated June 10, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on celebrating major holidays and important events of the country in the 3 years 2023 - 2025 on approving the overall project of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); at the request of the Director of the Department of Performing Arts, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a Decision approving the script for the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - February 2, 2025).
Accordingly, the commemorative program will include activities such as: Traditional "Forever Spring"; Flag-raising ceremony; Parading and parade programs including: air force welcoming; air force parade in the following order: Parading of shrines, parading of infantry blocks, Vietnam People's Army blocks first, then to foreign military blocks, then to militia, air campaign, police blocks. After the parade of the walking group, there will be a parade of vehicles, military artillery, police special vehicles and mass groups; after the parade, there will be an art program...
The Commemoration Ceremony, parade, and parade are key highlights in the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
