This morning (8.19), General Secretary To Lam attended the inauguration ceremony of the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC).
Also attending were Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

The event marked an important milestone, located in 250 key projects inaugurated and started construction to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
After nearly 10 months of construction, the exhibition complex with a total area of over 900,000m2 has taken shape on Tu Lien bridge (Dong Anh, Hanoi), established as the largest Exhibition Center in Southeast Asia and Top 10 in the world.

The heart of the complex is the Kim Quy Exhibition Building - a symbolic project with a giant steel arch weighing 24,000 tons, 56m high, simulating the image of the god Kim Quy - a legend associated with the legend of the ancient land of Loa heritage. With an area of about 130,000 m2, Kim Quy Exhibition House is designed with 9 main halls and 1 large central hall, an ideal space for organizing large-scale thematic exhibitions and events, with a diverse hall system and areas optimized for diverse types of displays.

The exhibition ecosystem also includes a regular exhibition center (Block A); 4 outdoor exhibition fields (Dong - Tay - Nam - Bac); Vietnam's largest international-class conference center - VinPalace Co Loa with a scale of 16,800 m2, 12 banquet halls and conferences with different capacity from hundreds to more than 5,000 people. In addition, there are exhibition support areas such as green parks and regulating lakes; a food area of more than 3,000 m; a parking lot of more than 18 hectares, with a capacity of more than 10,000 seats...
This is also the venue for the National Achievements Exhibition - 80th Anniversary of Independence - freedom - Happiness on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day from August 28 to September 5.

Right at Kim Quy Exhibition House, the central hall with the theme "95 years of the Party flag on the road" will recreate the brilliant milestones under the leadership of the Party. The main hall with the theme "Vietnam - The Fatherland - The People" is a place to honor the beauty of Vietnamese culture, nature and people.
In the outdoor area, Dong yard will have the theme "river Youth Festival" with a folk festival atmosphere. The Western Stadium has the theme "Aspiration for the Sky" and "For a Green Future", displaying aircraft models, introducing cuisine of the three regions and clean energy solutions. In particular, the Southern yard with the theme "Guns and Border Guard" will be a place to display special weapons and equipment of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, demonstrating the strength of defending the Fatherland.
In addition to the National Exhibition Center, Vingroup Corporation also inaugurated and started construction of 5 socio-economic infrastructure projects, transportation, industry, urban and tourism in Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Ha Tinh, Tay Ninh and Dong Nai.
Including: Inauguration ceremony of the May Chai Bridge Construction Project (royal Bridge) and access roads on both sides of the bridge under the Vu Yen Island Entertainment Area, Housing and Ecological Park Project (Vinhomes Royal Island) - Hai Phong; Starting construction of an international standard 18-hole golf course in Quang Hanh, Quang Ninh, with a scale of about 100 hectares; Vinhomes Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project started in Vung Ang, Ha Tinh; Starting construction of the Phuoc Vinh Tay New Urban Area Project (Tay Ninh) with a scale of about 1,089.6 hectares.
