"I don't understand everything at home, I get instructions at the center"
General Secretary To Lam - Head of the Central Steering Committee on Science, Technology (STI), Innovation (STI) and Digital Transformation (DTS) - mentioned this content at the Conference to review the work in the first 6 months of the year and the key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025 of the Steering Committee, on the morning of July 2.
General Secretary To Lam said that through the recent field inspection in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, there are many applications in the wards with contributions from science, technology, engineering from scientists, managers, students, etc. There are such programs for them to exchange, share, and put applications into practice.

According to the General Secretary, people are very excited to receive advice and solve work on digital platforms. Many people do not know the instructions and advice, so people learn about implementing services on applications.
"I asked why you do it online like this, if you don't do it at home, people will answer, if you are at home, people won't understand everything, go to the center for advice, as if you were learning a good lesson. This time I come here, I know how to do it so I won't have to come again next time" - General Secretary To Lam said and believed that the centers are both online, provide guidance, provide in person and the instructions are directly applied to people's lives.

According to General Secretary To Lam, through the survey, there are people who say that people really like this but do not have mobile devices or smart devices, so they cannot connect. These are very realistic stories, showing the practical needs of the people.
General Secretary To Lam also said that regarding public services, we have also agreed on a national public service portal since July 1, and have operated public administrative service centers at the provincial and commune levels.
Resolution 57 is not only a State affair but has really spread to society
At the Conference, Mr. Pham Gia Tuc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office - presented the "Summary report on the work in the first 6 months of 2025 and the key tasks of the work in the last 6 months of 2025 of the Central Steering Committee".
Mr. Tuc said that after 6 months of implementation, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW has created strong changes in awareness and action in the entire political system.
The science and technology and technology ecosystem continues to thrive, with 858 science and technology enterprises, 45 high-tech enterprises and over 73,000 digital technology enterprises in operation. The Ministry of Science and Technology has attracted and gathered 277 experts to participate in key programs on artificial intelligence, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources for strategic fields.

According to Mr. Pham Gia Tuc, a very prominent point in the first 6 months of the year is the strong companionship and participation of large domestic technology enterprises. This is a new feature, showing that Resolution 57 is not only the State's work but has truly spread to society and the business community, creating a large social movement, creating more resources and motivation to effectively implement tasks.
Mr. Pham Gia Tuc emphasized that, based on the initial results achieved in the first 6 months of 2025, agencies and units need to promote the spirit of innovation, take action resolutely, focus highly on direction, management, and effective implementation of key tasks, ensuring progress, quality and set goals.
In particular, it is necessary to focus on prioritizing the synchronous and comprehensive implementation of the two major plans of the Central Steering Committee, to create synergy and consensus in the entire political system.
