This morning (September 19), the Central Military Commission for the 2020-2025 term held the 14th Conference, assessing the results of leadership in performing military, defense tasks and building the Army Party Committee in the first 6 months of the year, deploying key tasks in the last 6 months of 2025. General Secretary To Lam - Secretary of the Central Military Commission - chaired the conference.

Also attending were Politburo members, Central Military Commission Standing Committee members, President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's Politburo member.
General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense - chaired the conference.
The conference was attended by Politburo members: Standing member of the Secretariat, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc. Also attending the conference was Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee.

Also attending the conference were members of the Central Military Commission: Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense.
Members of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Ministers of National Defense: Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hong Thai all attended the conference.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and evaluating the results of leadership in performing military and defense tasks in the first 6 months of 2025; determining directions, tasks, and solutions for leadership in performing tasks in the last 6 months of the year; reporting on the formation of the parade and parade forces during the 80th Anniversary of the success of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
