Communes are gradually changing
Speaking at the meeting with voters, General Secretary To Lam expressed his pleasure with the National Assembly Delegation of the province to meet with voters of 3 communes: Kien Xuong, Le Loi and Quang Lich.
The General Secretary highly appreciated the democratic spirit, responsibility, frankness and enthusiasm in voters' opinions. Each opinion is practical, reasonable, accurately reflecting the lives and aspirations of the people; expressing the trust and support of the Party, State, and National Assembly.
The General Secretary provided additional information on the results of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly; some outstanding results for the entire 15th National Assembly term; on the country's situation in 2025; the preparation for the 14th National Party Congress was focused on by the Politburo and the Secretariat to urgently and resolutely direct voters.
The General Secretary was excited to know that although Hung Yen province after the merger has a large workload and a new organizational model that requires many efforts, the province has been proactive, creative, and systematic in implementing; achieving many positive results in the fields of economy - society, security - national defense.

The province is also facing many new opportunities: greater development space; expanded socio-economic space; the ability to link regions and attract stronger investment. At the same time, the responsibility of each level, each sector and each commune is also higher, requiring great determination, specific and effective actions.
For the three communes of Kien Xuong, Le Loi and Quang Lich, the communes have made efforts to synchronously deploy solutions, exploiting the potential and advantages of each locality; the socio-economic situation has progress, security and order are maintained. The communes are gradually transforming, creating a foundation for the process of building advanced new rural areas in the coming time.
Responding to some of the voters' recommendations, the General Secretary affirmed our Party's consistent viewpoint: "Always put the people at the center; protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; all policies and decisions must be aimed at serving the people".
The General Secretary requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels from the province to the commune and ward of Hung Yen must completely resolve the legitimate petitions of the people.
Focus on developing green agriculture
Particularly for the three communes of Kien Xuong, Le Loi, Quang Lich, the General Secretary proposed to focus on developing green, high-value agriculture - building a modern rural economy. The three communes have advantages in terms of land fund, good production tradition, united and studious people; traffic is increasingly convenient.
Therefore, communes need to promote the development of clean, green, ecological agriculture; strongly apply science - technology and digital transformation; form large-scale, concentrated production areas; build product brands, geographical indications; issue codes for growing areas and farming areas; organize production according to value chains; develop a new-style cooperative economy and cooperatives; combine agriculture with services, eco-tourism, craft villages to increase income for people.

The General Secretary pointed out that communes must create breakthroughs in infrastructure - expand development space, create new momentum for socio-economic development. "Bottlenecks" in transportation, irrigation, and digital infrastructure must be prioritized for final handling. The three communes need to proactively synchronously connect with provincial roads, national highways and strategic traffic axes of the area; scientific planning of commercial infrastructure, rural industrial clusters and cultural and sports institutions.
In 2026, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels will take place - on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the first General Election.
With very short time, a large amount of work and high requirements, the General Secretary requested all levels and sectors to immediately start working; do it specifically, practically, effectively; informally; clear people - clear work - clear responsibilities - clear deadlines; fully prepare necessary conditions, ensure the election takes place democratically, in accordance with the law, safely, successfully.
