On the morning of November 4, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
According to the Politburo's Decision, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi City ceased to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and ceased to hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; transferred and assigned to participate in the 13th Secretariat and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions for the 2020-2025 term.
Previously, on November 3, 2025, the Politburo decided that Comrade Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - would cease to participate in the 13th Secretariat, cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, cease to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Central organizations.
Speaking at the assignment of tasks to comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, General Secretary To Lam said that, implementing the policy of streamlining the organization and apparatus and preparing all aspects of work to successfully organize the 14th National Party Congress, the Politburo has decided to mobilize, assign, appoint, and introduce a number of cadres under the management of the Politburo and the Secretariat.
Assigning the task to comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, General Secretary To Lam assessed that comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai is a cadre who has matured from the grassroots, with a lot of experience in mass mobilization, solidarity, gathering, and mobilizing the people.
During his time assigned as Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation, he has worked with the Hanoi Party Committee and agencies to excellently complete their tasks, achieving the city's recent successful results; completing the targets and goals of the Party's Resolutions, as well as the city's; the face of the capital is increasingly spacious; the growth of Hanoi has been 1.4 times higher than before.
In addition, Hanoi has completed the work of streamlining and reorganizing the two-level local government apparatus, operating well, meeting the requirements and tasks, in accordance with the direction. According to the General Secretary, the above results of Hanoi city are contributed by comrades in the City Party Committee, especially comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai personally.
