General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam will lead a high-level Vietnamese delegation on a state visit to Laos on February 5.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit was made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Thongloun Sisoulith.
Previously, the State visit to Vietnam by Lao General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith from January 26-27, at the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam and his wife, was a great success.
The visit affirms that the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation, and strategic linkage between Vietnam and Laos will continue to develop. This relationship will continue to be preserved as a priceless common asset of the two nations and passed down to future generations.
