General Secretary To Lam hopes that the legislative bodies of the two countries will promote their role in promoting higher-level cohesion between the two economies.

On August 31, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam received Politburo member and Head of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China Zhao Liyee.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Secretary To Lam sent warm regards and best wishes to General Secretary and President Xi Jinping and key leaders of China; expressed his appreciation for the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary and President Xi Jinping's sending of Mr. Zhao Lusi as a high-ranking representative of the Party and State of China to attend the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2 and send soldiers to attend the parade and parade.

The General Secretary hopes that the legislative bodies of the two countries will promote their role in promoting higher-level connectivity between the two economies, giving the highest priority to railway cooperation, promoting trade development in a balanced and sustainable direction, further opening up markets for each other; further connecting in science and technology, especially in key areas such as AI, semiconductors, nuclear energy, 5G, 6G; promoting people-to-people exchanges, consolidating the social foundation of the bilateral relationship.

Regarding the East Sea issue, General Secretary To Lam suggested that the two sides continue to better control and resolve disagreements, put themselves in each other's positions, respect each other's legitimate interests, and jointly maintain a peaceful and stable environment, so that the two socialist countries can focus on promoting the new era and era of development of the two peoples.

Expressing his appreciation and agreement with the opinions of General Secretary To Lam, Head Member Trieu Lac Te affirmed that China is ready to work with Vietnam to implement the results achieved during the state visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, enhance political trust, deepen substantive cooperation, enhance strategic connections between the two economies, enhance cooperation in the fields of culture, education, tourism, people-to-people exchanges; jointly control appropriately and better resolve disagreements, jointly maintain peace and stability at sea, creating a favorable environment for the development of each country.
