This morning (January 5, 2026), in Hanoi, the Central Internal Affairs Commission organized a ceremony to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Party's Internal Affairs Sector (January 5, 1966 - January 5, 2026) and receive the Ho Chi Minh Order for the second time.
General Secretary To Lam attended and delivered a directing speech at the Anniversary Ceremony. Also attending was former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh.


Also attending the Anniversary Ceremony were Politburo members: President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man. Also attending the Anniversary Ceremony were leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, Politburo members, Secretariat members, and Central Party Committee members.

Exactly 60 years ago, on January 5, 1966, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 133-NQ/TW establishing the Central Legal Department - the predecessor of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, marking the official birth of the Party's Internal Affairs sector.
Having gone through many stages of organization, consolidation, and re-establishment suitable to practical requirements, the entire sector always maintains its bravery, principles, and is determined to handle difficult, complex, and sensitive issues; promptly advises Party committees to lead and direct correctly and accurately, contributing to maintaining discipline, law, and political and social stability.

At the ceremony, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac delivered a speech commemorating and reviewing the 60th anniversary of the Party's Internal Affairs sector.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary To Lam awarded the Ho Chi Minh Order to the Central Internal Affairs Commission.
