This afternoon (March 17), at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam chaired a working session with the Government Inspectorate Party Committee.
Attending the meeting were: Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Le Hoai Trung.
Also attending were members of the Party Central Committee: Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong; also attending were members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of a number of ministries and branches.

Speaking at the opening of the working session, General Secretary To Lam emphasized the complicated situation of lawsuits extending to the Central Government, especially increasingly every time there are major events; this situation is increasingly complicated, potentially leading to complicated issues of security and order.
"This needs to be resolved completely, it cannot last forever" - the General Secretary emphasized.

Emphasizing that today's meeting focused on the main theme of resolving the situation of prolonged complaints, the General Secretary stated the requirement that by the end of the second quarter of 2025, 220 cases of prolonged complaints must be completely resolved.
"There must be fundamental solutions to completely resolve this matter" - General Secretary To Lam clearly stated the request.

The General Secretary noted that from the third quarter of 2025, when implementing the new organizational model and merging provinces and communes, if these contents are not thoroughly handled, it will lead to difficulties. Therefore, the settlement of these long-term complaints needs to be finalized before the apparatus is reorganized.
The General Secretary requested that the opinions expressed need to specifically clarify the responsibilities of each locality and the responsibilities of agencies in resolving this long-term complaint and lawsuit.
"The main cases are related to land, including the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Hanoi City, the Central Inspection Committee, and the Internal Affairs Committee to participate in coordinating and discussing solutions to resolutely handle this issue" - the General Secretary emphasized.

At the meeting, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong presented a report on the handling and settlement of long-standing complaints and made a number of recommendations for related solutions.
