At the same time, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also announced the retirement decision for Mr. Luong Minh Phuc - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Department, from October 1, 2025.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh, 54 years old, from Binh Duong, graduated with a bachelor's degree in Construction.
Mr. Minh has many years of experience in the fields of transportation and construction, and has previously held the positions of Director of the Department of Transport and Director of the Department of Construction of Binh Duong province.
When Ho Chi Minh City merged with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau from July 1, Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh was one of 17 Deputy Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction.
The Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Department was established in 2018 on the basis of separating the management function of traffic projects from Urban Traffic Management Areas No. 1, 2, 3, 4, Inland Waterway Management Area, and merging the Soai Rap Canal dredging project management board (phase 2) under the former Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport.
