Ho Chi Minh City did not accept gifts and flowers to congratulate the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Office has just announced that it will not accept gifts or congratulatory flowers at the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Following the direction of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Office of the City Party Committee requests the City Party Committee Committees, the City Party Committee Inspection Committee; the Standing Committees of the Party Committees of wards, communes, and special zones of Con Dao; Party Committees directly under the City Party Committee; departments, branches, sectors; associations, unions; state-owned corporations and companies not to send gifts or congratulatory flowers on the occasion of the Congress.

This is to practice thrift, avoid waste and ensure security work during the time of important political events of the city.

Previously, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee announced the expected time to organize the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

On October 11 and 12, delegates will participate in activities before the congress, including a program to visit some typical works of the city (October 12).

On the morning of October 13, delegates attending the closing session were elected by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term. The congress held its official and closing session on October 14 and the morning of October 15.
