On the afternoon of November 7, at the Presidential Palace, the Party Committee of the Office of the President solemnly held a ceremony to award the 30-year Party membership badge to Party Central Committee member and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, according to VNA.
Politburo member and President Luong Cuong attended the ceremony. General Secretary To Lam sent a flower basket to congratulate Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, President Luong Cuong respectfully presented the 30-year Party membership badge and warmly congratulated Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, as well as the Party Committee of the Office of the President.
Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Head of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai emphasized that during 30 years in the Party, comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan has been trained and gradually matured from the grassroots, experiencing many positions, tasks, and fields of work from local to central levels.
Regardless of her position, comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan is always absolutely loyal to the Party and the Fatherland, devoted, modest, receptive, wholeheartedly serving the revolutionary cause, excellently fulfilling assigned responsibilities and tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party, State and people.
Mr. Le Khanh Hai said that since the beginning of the term, in the context of many difficulties and challenges, with the authorization of the President, Comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan has made many contributions, performed her duties and powers very effectively, clearly demonstrating the assigned role as Acting President (January 18, 2023 - March 2, 2023; March 21 - May 22, 2024) and Vice President with many outstanding marks in domestic and foreign affairs that are very noteworthy, contributing significantly to the overall success of the President's 2021 - 2026 term.
The Head of the Office of the President affirmed that the 30-year Party membership badge shows the appreciation and recognition of the Party, State and people for the dedication and contributions of comrade Vo Thi Anh Xuan in the revolutionary cause, building and defending the Fatherland.
Moved and proud to receive the 30-year Party membership badge, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan expressed her joy at receiving the 30-year Party membership badge in the context of the country preparing to enter a new era, an era of the Vietnamese people's rise. At the same time, the Vice President said that the higher the honor, the greater the responsibility to the Party, State and people.
The Vice President said that in his assigned position, he and other Party and State leaders, including the President himself, participated in leading and directing the effective implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat; the Constitution, laws and resolutions of the National Assembly; closely coordinated with agencies exercising legislative, executive and judicial powers, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; closely connected with the people, listened to and accepted the opinions of the people and voters, and strived to perform well the duties and powers of the Vice President in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, laws and the assignment of the President.
