On the morning of February 24, at Naval Region 4, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province organized a conference to deploy and assign tasks to forces to ensure the implementation of the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term in Truong Sa Special Zone.

Leaders of Truong Sa Special Zone report on the preparation for early elections of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term in 21 polling areas on islands in the special zone.
Accordingly, the Special Zone Election Committee was established with 11 members; and at the same time, 6 election committees and 21 election teams with a total of 189 members were established. Sub-committees serving election work including propaganda, facilities, complaint and denunciation resolution, security and order, and health were consolidated, ensuring synchronous operation.
The consultation work was implemented in accordance with procedures, organizing 3 rounds of consultations to ensure democracy, strictness, and compliance with the law.
The early election schedule is built specifically for each stage, with close coordination with functional agencies of the province and the Command of Naval Region 4.
To date, Truong Sa Special Zone has fully prepared facilities to serve the election, including 22 main ballot boxes, 16 auxiliary ballot boxes; printing documents, voter lists, ballots, voter cards; decorating ceremonies, flags, propaganda panels at 21 polling areas.




At the ceremony, Mr. Ho Xuan Truong - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee - directly handed over the ballot box, biography summary, regulations, and voter cards to officers and soldiers of Naval Region 4 to transport to the islands to organize early elections.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his belief that with the synchronous involvement of the entire political system, the close coordination between the Navy and the Truong Sa Special Zone government, early elections in 21 polling stations on the islands will take place democratically, in accordance with the law, safely, economically, truly a festival for officers, soldiers and people at the forefront of the storm.
Immediately after the conference, the Chairman of the Truong Sa Special Zone handed over ballot boxes, voter cards, ballots and related documents to the forces en route to perform tasks at the island points.
