On February 23, on the first official working day after the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year holiday, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Deputy Prime Ministers attended a meeting to deploy key tasks at the beginning of the new year of the Government Office (VPCP).
Speaking at the meeting, the Prime Minister assessed that the organization of Tet this year has more points than last year; the whole country has celebrated Spring, welcomed Tet happily, warmly, safely, healthily, and affectionately; the average income per capita is higher, and the material and spiritual life of the people continues to improve.
In the joyful and excited atmosphere of the first day of the Binh Ngo New Year 2026, the Prime Minister emphasized the requirement to focus on implementing post-Tet tasks right from the first day, the first month in accordance with the spirit of Directive 55 of the Secretariat and Directive 36 of the Prime Minister.
The Head of Government stated clearly that in 2026, we must continue to ensure macroeconomic stability; control inflation; promote growth; ensure major balances of the economy; well control the state budget deficit, public debt, government debt, foreign debt; improve the material and spiritual life of the people. With a larger workload and higher requirements, the Prime Minister clearly stated that the Government Office must immediately deploy tasks from the first day, especially the contents that the Standing Committee of the Government has met on February 22.
The Prime Minister requested the contingent of officials, civil servants, public employees, and employees of the Government Office to continue to promote good traditions, comprehensively innovate all aspects of work, be more active, proactive, and effective in advisory and general work.
Grasp the situation better, issue appropriate, timely, and effective policy responses; organize the work of the VPCP, the advisory and assisting agencies of the Government Party Committee to be more innovative, faster, and more timely; better coordinate between units under the VPCP.
Further improve capacity, spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility with the highest responsibility; continue to promote solidarity and unity, create strength, listen sincerely, share with feelings from heart to heart, and act effectively.
The Head of Government noted that ideology must be clear, determination must be high, efforts must be great, actions must be drastic and effective, do what work is done, do what work is done, promote intelligence, value time and be decisive at the right time.
The Prime Minister requested to implement the spirit of "1 goal", "2 assurances", "3 yes", "4 no", "5 differentiation", "6 clarity" in the advisory, synthesis, and service work of the Government Office.
