On September 17, information from the National Assembly Office said that Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued Resolution No. 18/2026/UBTVQH16 adjusting the 2026 Legislative Program.
Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to add to the 2026 Legislative Program submitted to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 2nd Session (October 2026) according to simplified procedures for the projects: Law on Development of the Cultural Industry; Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots Level (amended).
Adjusting the name of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health (amended) to the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health.
At the same time, supplementing to the 2026 Legislative Program, submitting to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration and approval according to simplified procedures for projects as follows:
Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 71/2025/UBTVQH15 dated February 18, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the specific tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ethnic Council and Committees of the National Assembly.
Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee replacing Resolution No. 1206/2016/NQ-UBTVQH13 dated May 13, 2016 of the National Assembly Standing Committee stipulating regimes, policies and conditions to ensure the operation of People's Council deputies.
Regarding the organization of implementation, the Resolution clearly states that the National Assembly Standing Committee assigns agencies to submit, agencies to preside over the appraisal, participate in appraisal and the progress of submitting to the National Assembly Standing Committee for comments on projects adjusted in the 2026 Legislative Program.
Specifically, the projects: Law on Development of Cultural Industries; Law on Implementation of Democracy at the Grassroots Level (amended); Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health submitted to the National Assembly Standing Committee for comments at the September 2026 Meeting.
