On September 2, information from the National Assembly Office said that tomorrow (September 3), the National Assembly Standing Committee will open the 6th session to consider and give opinions on many important contents.
According to the plan, the meeting will take place in 2 phases: phase 1 from the afternoon of September 3rd and morning of September 4th, 2026; phase 2 from September 21st to morning of September 25th, 2026.
Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man will deliver the opening speech and together with the Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly take turns managing the content of the Session.
At this Session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and give opinions on 27 draft laws and resolutions such as the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Securities Law; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Accounting Law, Law on Independent Auditing; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Children, Law on People with Disabilities, Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, Law on Pharmacy, Law on Population;
Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the mechanism for recovering and handling assets related to crimes not through conviction; Resolution on the 2027 Legislative Program; Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 730/2004/NQ-UBTVQH11 dated September 30, 2004 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on approving the salary scale, salary allowance scale for state leaders; professional and nghiệp vụ salary scale of the Court sector, the Procuracy sector; Resolution regulating the regime of protection of Judges.
Regarding supervision work, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the 2026 work report, the expected 2027 audit plan of the State Audit Office; considered the National Assembly's report on people's aspirations in August 2026.
The National Assembly Standing Committee will also give opinions on the Project of the National Target Program on crime prevention and control for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2035.
At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee will summarize the First Extraordinary Session of the 16th National Assembly.
