On the afternoon of August 28, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi City, went to a private home to present the 80th Anniversary Party Badge to Lieutenant General, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Quoc Thuoc, a Party member of the Ngoc Ha Ward Party Committee.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc is an excellent citizen of the Capital (2022), Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Commander of Military Region 4, former Commander of the 3rd Corps.
He was born on February 3, 1926, in Nghi Dien commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province (now Nghi Loc commune, Nghe An province). Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc was admitted to the Party on July 1, 1967, officially on December 1, 1947.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc participated in the revolution since April 1945 in the Viet Minh movement in the locality, and was a pre-upprising cadre. From December 49 to December 5, he was a student at the Army Officer School, course 5. He was a Party cell member, Lieutenant Captain of the Training School for Army Officers, course 6.
In 1952, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc was a Party cellist and Lieutenant of the Binh Tri Thien Front reconnaissance team. In particular, from 1967 to 1972, he was a Party cell member, Deputy Head of the Central Highlands Front Work Committee; Deputy Party Secretary, Regiment Commander of E24, E28 of the Central Highlands Front.
From September 1972 to February 1975, he was a Party Committee member, Standing member of the Party Committee of the Central Highlands Front Staff, Head of the Central Highlands Front Combat Department; Deputy Staff of the Central Highlands Front.
In March 1975, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc was Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Advisory Affairs, Chief of Staff of the Central Highlands Front; Chief of Staff of the Central Highlands Campaign. From April 1975 to 1977, he was a member of the Party Committee of the joint army group, Chief of Staff of the 3rd Army Corps...
