On July 22, at the National Military Training Center 4 (Hanoi), the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, Ministry of National Defense, held a meeting with forces performing the task of parade and marching in the 80th Anniversary of the Successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Chairing the meeting, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc - Director of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering praised the spirit of overcoming difficulties, proactively and actively practicing of the officers and soldiers participating in the implementation of the A80 mission.

To successfully complete the task, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc requested the forces to continue to thoroughly grasp the important political tasks assigned, strictly comply with discipline, uphold the highest sense of responsibility and determination, and take advantage of all time to actively practice.
For the parade and marching group, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc noted that each individual, each line and the whole group need to demonstrate the spirit of solidarity, solemnity, the movement must be correct, steady, strong, beautiful, and unified; maintain the right distance and speed; demonstrate the regularity, unity, discipline and strength of the Vietnam People's Army in the upcoming 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
On the same day, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc inspected the technical assurance work for vehicles and artillery participating in the A80 mission.
At the inspection, the Director of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering and the working delegation listened to the report and focused on inspecting a number of contents such as: Technical status of vehicles, paint color, mobility...; ensuring safety for vehicles during the time of storm No. 3 (Wipha) making landfall in Vietnam, causing strong winds and heavy rain in the gathering area.
Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc assessed that the units have thoroughly grasped the instructions of superiors, closely coordinated with relevant forces to build and organize well the gathering of vehicles and technical equipment in accordance with regulations and safety; did a good job of managing, preserving and maintaining weapons, equipment, and military equipment to prepare for the practice of performing parade and parade missions.
The Director of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering requires technical forces to regularly check unusual signs, braking, fire-fighting, cooling systems;... the technical condition of the chain, tires, and immediately organize repairs if problems are detected, thereby ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles, and performing well the task.
In addition, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc requested that forces need to increase technical training on repair, maintenance, and towing of vehicles; strictly handle the gasoline - electrical options to prevent unusual damage that may occur.
Implementing the direction of the Ministry of National Defense, in recent times, with the spirit of "Highing the pink flag in August, competing for the third place", the General Department of Logistics and Engineering has proactively and actively directed to ensure timely and adequate logistics... directed the organization of strict inspection of vehicle technical coefficients to ensure safety in force movements and directed agencies and units to ensure the best food and accommodation places, ensuring the health of the forces participating in the A80 training.
