Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on summarizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently" - signed an official dispatch on implementing the task of summarizing Resolution 18-NQ/TW so that Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies and units under the Central Committee can study and propose to reorganize and perfect the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently.
The dispatch stated that the Extraordinary Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee issued Resolution No. 56-NQ/TW, dated November 25, 2024, determining the highest political determination in implementing the summary of Resolution 18 and basically agreeing on the content of the suggestions and orientations of the Politburo for Party committees, Party organizations, agencies and units under the Central Committee to study and propose the arrangement and completion of the apparatus of the streamlined political system, operating effectively and efficiently; assigning the Politburo and the Central Steering Committee on the summary of Resolution 18 (Steering Committee) to consider and decide on the arrangement according to their authority for agencies and organizations that have had carefully prepared plans.
Implementing the direction of General Secretary To Lam on the time to organize the Central Conference (expected in mid-February 2025) and the extraordinary National Assembly session (expected in late February 2025); to ensure the time to organize Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Steering Committee requests Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies and units to urgently implement a number of contents.

Specifically assign responsibilities for implementing tasks on arranging, dissolving, and merging agencies and units according to plan and schedule; periodically report progress on implementing tasks and projects to the Steering Committee (through the Central Organizing Committee) before 3:00 p.m. every Friday.
The Central Organizing Committee helps the Steering Committee regularly monitor, grasp the situation, and give opinions (when necessary) during the process of implementing steps to build and implement projects and tasks of Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, and units to ensure the correct progress, orientation, suggestions, and directions of the Politburo and the Steering Committee.
