Central Committee discusses the Project to innovate Vietnam's development model

On the second working day of the 3rd Plenum of the 14th Central Committee, the Central Committee discussed at the Hall the Project on innovating Vietnam's development model.

On the afternoon of July 21, the Party Central Committee Office issued a press release on the second working day of the 3rd Plenum of the 14th Central Committee.

The press release stated that on July 21, 2026, the third Conference of the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Party will continue the second working day.

In the morning, General Secretary and President To Lam chaired the Conference. The Central Government and delegates worked at the Hall, discussing 4 contents:

(1) Regulations of the 14th Party Central Committee on things party members are not allowed to do (replacing Regulation No. 37-QD/TW, dated October 25, 2021 of the 13th Party Central Committee).

(2) Project to amend and supplement Regulation No. 20-QD/TW, dated April 8, 2026 of the Central Executive Committee on the implementation of the Party Charter.

(3) Project on innovating Vietnam's development model.

(4) Project on preliminary review of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated June 16, 2022 of the 13th Central Party Committee "on continuing to innovate and improve institutions and policies, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of land management and use, creating motivation to make our country a developed country with high income"; viewpoints and orientations for amending the Land Law and related laws.

In the afternoon, the Central Committee and delegates worked at the Group, discussing the following contents:

(1) Project summarizing Resolution No. 36-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018 of the 12th Party Central Committee "on the Strategy for Sustainable Development of Vietnam's Sea Economy to 2030, vision to 2045".

(2) Project summarizing Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW, dated June 3, 2013 of the 11th Party Central Committee "on proactively responding to climate change, strengthening resource management and environmental protection".

Tomorrow (July 22, 2026), the Central Government will continue to work according to the program.
