On the afternoon of July 23, the Party Central Committee Office issued a press release on the fourth working day of the 3rd Plenum of the 14th Central Committee.
The press release stated that on July 23, 2026, the third Conference of the 14th Central Committee of the Party will continue its fourth working day.
In the morning, Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu chaired the Conference. The Central Government and delegates worked at the Hall, discussing 5 contents:
(1) Policy on adjusting the functions and tasks of advising on mass mobilization work from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, central mass organizations; renaming the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.
(2) Project on building a disciplined, safe, civilized, harmonious, and developed society.
(3) National Security Strategy Project.
(4) Project to establish Quang Ninh city directly under the Central Government.
(5) Project to establish Bac Ninh city directly under the Central Government.
In the afternoon, the Central Committee and delegates worked at the Group, discussing 3 contents:
(1) Preliminary summary report of 1 year of operating the overall organizational model of the 2-level political system and local government.
(2) Report on the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year and directions and key tasks for the last 6 months of the year.
(3) Report on Party building and political system work in the first 6 months of the year and directions and tasks for the last 6 months of the year.
Tomorrow (July 24, 2026), the Central Committee will continue to work according to the program and close the Conference.
