On the afternoon of November 13, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department and the working delegation visited, worked and inspected the progress of the Long Thanh airport project in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province.
Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia inspected the construction of the passenger terminal and runway of Long Thanh airport.
Reporting to the working delegation, a representative of the Long Thanh Airport Project Management Board said that up to now, all important packages have met and exceeded the schedule, ensuring the quality of the project.
Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia praised the units for overcoming difficulties and ensuring construction progress. At the same time, he said that Long Thanh airport is a national project, of key importance to the whole country.
Therefore, relevant units need to try harder and be more determined to construct Long Thanh airport, closely follow the progress, ensure quality, and soon put the project into operation.
Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia also visited, encouraged and presented gifts to households who gave up land to build Long Thanh airport and are currently being resettled in the Loc An - Binh Son resettlement area with spacious and modern facilities.
