This morning (November 15), the Scientific Council of the Central Party Agencies chaired and coordinated with the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine to organize the national scientific conference "A new era, an era of Vietnam's rising - Theoretical and practical issues".
Speaking at the workshop, Dr. Lai Xuan Mon - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Central Party Agencies - said that General Secretary To Lam in his recent important articles and speeches mentioned the issue of a new era, the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.
The ideology of General Secretary To Lam was unanimously affirmed by the 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee. This is a new policy and orientation, with strategic vision for national development, of great political significance, which needs to be included in the 14th National Congress Documents, thoroughly understood throughout the entire Party, people, and army, and implemented with high political determination.
According to Mr. Lai Xuan Mon, over the past 40 years, our entire Party, people and army have been determined and resolute in carrying out the renovation process, achieving great and historic achievements. The goals and major contents of the era of unification and renovation have basically been completed, allowing our country to enter the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise - the era of prosperity and happiness.
Mr. Lai Xuan Mon said that humanity is entering a new period of rapid development, with many great and fundamental changes, presenting many new challenges and creating new opportunities for development.
In particular, the Fourth Industrial Revolution with its breakthrough achievements has created both great challenges and opened up unprecedented new opportunities and development opportunities. Any country that can take advantage of the achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution can create breakthrough development.
Our Party has correctly perceived and determined to seize this opportunity, and has been implementing many positive solutions to adapt, exploit, and promote the outstanding achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This is the key for Vietnam to rise up, develop by leaps and bounds, catch up, and advance rapidly with the times. This is the historical starting point in the development process, the country enters a new era, the era of rising up of the Vietnamese people.
"Thus, Vietnam entering an era of breakthrough development, starting from the 14th Congress, is in accordance with the objective laws of the Vietnamese revolution and the trend of the times" - Dr. Lai Xuan Mon emphasized.
Mr. Lai Xuan Mon expressed his belief that the opinions of delegates, experts and scientists at today's workshop will provide solid scientific arguments, contributing to clarifying theoretical and practical issues about the new era, the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise, contributing to building the content of the 14th National Party Congress Documents.
