On January 14, in Hanoi, the Office of the National Election Council coordinated with the Office of the National Assembly to organize an online conference with 34 locations for the Provincial and City Election Commissions to train and use the election information management software system to serve the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and deputies of People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
Currently, the Election Information Management System on the dedicated data transmission network is being deployed and installed to Election Commissions at all levels.
The system is built to support the Office of the National Election Council, the Office of the Provincial and City Election Commissions and the Commune-level Election Commission in organizing and managing information to serve the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
Through this System, officials and civil servants at election commissions at all levels have more favorable conditions in managing candidate dossiers; performing election-related nghiep vu.
At the same time, monitoring and managing consultation work, allocating candidates, importing and summarizing election results. In addition, the system also supports the issuance of reports and information to serve each stage of the election process.
The effective operation of the Election Information Management System is of great significance, directly contributing to the overall success of the election of National Assembly deputies of the XVI term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
This is also a vivid proof of the determination to modernize the national administration, gradually shifting from manual management to modern, transparent and scientific digital governance.
Speaking at the closing of the conference, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Manh Hung requested that the Provincial and City Election Commissions continue to fully review the accounts and guidance documents that have been provided.
At the same time, directing specialized agencies and commune-level Election Commissions to urgently inspect the specialized data transmission network infrastructure, install the system and update candidate dossiers according to the principle of "data to where, updated to that", ensuring accurate and timely information, absolutely not allowing errors in the identity of candidates to occur.
Noting that the election management software system operates on the network for specialized use, storing many important information, the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Office emphasized the requirement for localities, officials, and civil servants at the Election Commissions at all levels to strictly comply with regulations on account security, information security, especially not sharing access rights with irresponsible individuals.
The Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Office also requested relevant units to continue to closely monitor the operation process, ensure information security and promptly report to the National Election Council any arising issues.
