From the beginning of July 2026, the Law on Network Security officially takes effect. This Law stipulates network security, network security protection; rights, obligations, and responsibilities of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals.
This law stipulates that the State trains and develops human resources to protect network security, ensuring quantity and quality, meeting the requirements of national network security protection capacity.
The specialized force protecting network security is prioritized for personnel arrangement according to job positions, title standards, and is applied a mechanism for recruitment, selection, use, training, fostering, remuneration and attracting talents according to specific policies prescribed by the Government.
The manager of important national security information systems is responsible for: Arranging specialized departments or personnel suitable to the level of protection of the system.
Ensure that network security task performers meet professional and nghiệp vụ standards.
Along with that, regularly fostering and updating skills for personnel related to operation, supervision, rescue and network incident handling.
The Law on Network Security stipulates the selection, training, and development of network security protection forces.
Through this, Vietnamese citizens who meet the standards of moral qualities, health, qualifications, knowledge of network security, information technology, and have aspirations can be selected for the network security protection force.
Prioritize training and developing high-quality network security protection forces; discover young talents in network security and information technology to orient their learning, selection, attraction and use in the field of network security.
In addition, prioritize developing network security training facilities that meet international standards; encourage linkages and create opportunities for network security cooperation between the state and private sectors, domestically and internationally.
