Hanoi considers spending money and supporting funding for people to go to the Autumn Fair

The Hanoi People's Committee is considering supporting travel costs to serve people visiting the 2025 Autumn Fair.

Reporting to Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son - Head of the Steering Committee for the 2025 Autumn Fair and Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee at the inspection, inspection of the progress of the implementation and construction of the fair on the afternoon of October 19, Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong - Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade said that immediately after receiving instructions from the Steering Committee for the 2025 Autumn Fair, on October 14, Hanoi City held a meeting and assigned tasks to units on participating in the fair, focusing on the following tasks:

First, regarding funding: up to now (afternoon of October 19), Hanoi City has allocated full funding for units to deploy and construct booths according to the city's assigned tasks.

Second, the City has received the site and organized the construction of the space previously assigned by the Autumn Fair Steering Committee.

"Hanoi City is committed to implementing well the tasks assigned by the Government as well as the Ministry of Industry and Trade within the framework of the Autumn Fair; ensuring that by October 23, the construction work will be basically completed, and on October 24, the site will be completed for booths to arrange and display goods" - the Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade committed.

Third, related to health. Currently, the Hanoi Department of Health has developed a plan to ensure this work, assigning the Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Health to directly implement the contents, ensuring the best health work as well as ensuring food hygiene and safety during the fair.

Fourth, regarding Market Management, the Department of Industry and Trade also assigned the Hanoi Market Management Department to perform the tasks assigned by the Steering Committee for the 2025 Autumn Fair; arrange staff to control the market, ensure the quality of goods brought to the fair is the best, best quality products, and suitable prices.

Fifth, related to means of transport. In addition to the two bus routes that have been deployed, Hanoi City has assigned the Department of Construction to arrange 6 more transport routes from 4 directions East - West - South - North to the Vietnam Exhibition Center with a frequency of 15 minutes/trip, ensuring the best response to the needs of people and visitors coming to VEC.

Notably, Hanoi City is also considering partially supporting funding, creating favorable conditions for people to come to the Vietnam Exhibition Center and participate in the 2025 Autumn Fair.

The 2025 Autumn Fair is a national trade promotion event chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with ministries, branches and the Hanoi People's Committee. Hanoi will organize from October 25 to November 4, 2025 at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center (VEC), Dong Anh, Hanoi.

With a scale of over 130,000m2 on display, 3,000 booths and 2,500 businesses, the Fair is expected to welcome about 500,000 visitors per day, considered the "6th biggest super fair" including: Largest scale, most modern space, richest products, highest quality, most attractive activities and best incentives.

In parallel with the exhibition activities, a series of unique cultural and artistic events will take place throughout, especially the music night with the participation of My Tam, Phuong My Chi and many famous artists, promising to bring a brilliant and colorful atmosphere to Hanoi in the fall.

The Organizing Committee invites KOLs, KOCs and content creators to participate in experiential tours, create content to spread the image of creative, dynamic, integrated Vietnamese goods, and join hands to promote the message "Connecting people with production - business".
