The National Assembly Standing Committee gives opinions on corruption prevention and control

At today's session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on reports on corruption prevention and control; crime prevention and control and law violations.

According to the program, the 49th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place for 5.5 days: round 1 (one day: September 5, 2025); round 2 (morning of September 12.); round 3 (from September 22 to 23 and from the afternoon of September 25 to the morning of September 27; afternoon reserve at the Tan Trao meeting room, National Assembly House.

Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivered the opening speech and, together with the Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, took turns managing the session.

At the meeting on the morning of September 5, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Judicial Records.

After that, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave its opinion on the draft Law on Civil Aviation of Vietnam (amended).

Giving opinions on: Government reports on corruption prevention and control; crime prevention and control and law violations; enforcement in 2025; work reports on the work in 2025 of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy; reports summarizing the term of work of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuracy.

On the same afternoon, the National Assembly Standing Committee reviewed and decided on adjusting the central budget expenditure estimate allocated to the Ministry of Construction and supplementing it with a target to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities in 2025 according to the Government's Submission No. 699/TTr-CP dated August 15, 2025.
