VNA reported that, continuing the State visit to Laos, on April 25, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation attended the Friendship Exchange program with the theme "Vietnam - Laos of Our two countries, deeper love than Hong Ha - Mekong".
The Friendship Exchange Program was attended by General Secretary and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith, hundreds of Vietnamese international students and more than 1,000 veterans and representatives of the generation of Lao students who have studied in Vietnam.
Chairman of the Lao Veterans Association, Lieutenant General Sengnouanane Xayalath shared touching stories about the time to participate in the combat coalition between the Lao People's Army and the Vietnam People's Army; Affirmed that it was a period of arduous struggle, but also showed the revolutionary spirit, the heroic hero and the noble sacrifice of the Vietnamese Voluntary Army officers and soldiers with the Laos People's Liberation Army and the people of the Lao ethnic groups who had to shoulder to shoulder to shoulder to fight and fight for independence and freedom.

President Luong Cuong affirmed that in the era of the rising development of the Vietnamese people, the Party, State and People of Vietnam always strongly and comprehensively support the cause of innovation, protection and construction of Laos.
With the spirit of "helping friends is helping oneself", Vietnam is ready to share all successful experiences with comrades and friends of Laos in stabilizing the macro economy and in implementing major policies such as streamlining, building an efficient, effective and efficient operating apparatus; making breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; promoting international integration in the new situation.
