On the evening of November 5, the work "The Song of National Unity" by VietnamPlus Electronic Newspaper was honored at the "Best General News Infographics" award in the "Infographics" category within the framework of the 5th "The Asian Media Leaders Summit - AMLS" conference organized by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) in Singapore.
The work of VietnamPlus Electronic Newspaper received the WAN-IFRA 2025 award and was launched on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), included in the special information line A50 of Vietnam News Agency.
The work "The Song of National Reunification" by VietnamPlus, at the address https://www.vietnnamplus.vn 50namgiaiphongmiennam/, has a new form of depiction with an interactive 3D game about the immortal symbol of the 30/4 Victory with the Liberation Army's tank that crashed into the independence Palace, becoming the pride of the whole nation in the aspiration to completely liberate the South and unify the country.
The VietnamPlus Award is one of two new awards in the " Graphics" category (along with the "Best Medical Graphics" and "Best Climate Change Graphics" awards this year, recognizing the creativity and effectiveness of visual journalism products. Notable media awards categories honored by WAN-IFRA in 2025 include ingerie and Press Photo.
This year, this is the second consecutive time VietnamPlus has been honored to receive a major award from WAN-IFRA after in April 2025, the work "70 years of the Liberation of the Capital: Sacred and splendid Hanoi" by the Newspaper was honored in the category "Best Innovative Digital Product" within the framework of the Digital Media Awards 2025 (Digital Media Awards - DMA) organized by WAN-IFRA in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
To date, this is the third time VietnamPlus has officially received the prestigious award from WAN-IFRA. Previously, on September 28, 2014, rap news agency Rap news agency (RapNewsPlus) received the First Prize in the special category "Digital First" to honor news publishers for their creative measures to attract the participation of young people through mobile phones, tablets and other electronic devices.
Taking place over 2 days, November 5-6, 2025, the AMLS Conference held in Singapore is built on the very successful WAN-IFRA World Media Conference model. The program focuses on the Asian media environment, with many opportunities for learning and exchanging.
At this year's AMLS, media leaders and senior editors from the region and around the world will discuss at the strategic level the urgent issues that the media industry is facing today.
