After two days of urgent and democratic work, the 1st Congress of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, has officially closed.
The Congress passed a Resolution for the 2025-2030 term with 31 targets. Including 15 cultural - social targets, 5 environmental targets, 2 national defense targets, 2 Party building targets and 7 key economic targets, demonstrating the determination to effectively implement for the benefit of people and businesses.
According to the Resolution, Vinh Long province aims to bring the total number of employed workers in the economy to 1.934 million or more, of which the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sector accounts for 709.8 thousand people, industry and construction 501 thousand people, and services 723.4 thousand people.
The Congress also announced the Decision to appoint him to join the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Deputy Head, and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Bui Van No - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term holds the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The Congress also announced the Decision to appoint delegates of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party, including 49 official delegates and 5 absent delegates.
Speaking at the closing session of the Congress, Comrade Ngo Chi Cuong - Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term - shared that the 1st Congress of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, was a great success, demonstrating the spirit of urgency, democracy and high responsibility of all delegates.
The new Executive Committee will focus on implementing socio-economic targets, especially creating jobs for more than 1.9 million workers, developing agriculture, industry, construction and services, to improve people's lives and promote sustainable economic development in the province.
The Congress has proposed specific solutions to help the entire Party Committee, government and people unite and unanimously successfully achieve the goals set by the Congress.
