Accordingly, in version 2.2.10 of VNeID allowing people to update from 1 week ago, the Ministry of Public Security added features to connect relatives of martyrs, support relatives to look up and connect martyr information; added functions to reflect and propose on the status of receiving ID cards.
In this update, the Ministry of Public Security also updated the service of providing criminal record cards according to Circular 101/2026/TT-BCA effective from July 1st.
According to a representative of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (C06, Ministry of Public Security), the feature of connecting relatives of martyrs aims to provide a formal, centralized and convenient lookup channel for people and relatives of martyrs to look up and receive martyrs.
This feature also contributes to supporting information verification, connecting relatives with martyrs' graves and serving gratitude and repayment work.
To use the martyr relative connection feature, users are required to have a level 2 identification account.
In the application, citizens choose the "other services" section and choose "connecting relatives of martyrs".
At this section, citizens select the function "list of martyrs" and then enter martyr information to search for details. If the information is correct, citizens press select "recognize relatives".
After receiving relatives, citizens provide phone number information, take photos of proof documents and select "confirmation" to send information to functional agencies.
This new feature also displays a list of identified individuals, citizens can review the list and information of martyrs as well as recipients.
