On February 24, the People's Committee of Vung Tau City held a conference to announce the decision to merge the two units and appoint the leaders of the newly established board.
According to the content of the announced decision, the People's Committee of Vung Tau City merged the Construction Investment Project Management Board and the Land Fund Development Center, into the Vung Tau City Land Fund Development and Investment Project Management Board.
The newly established board is headquartered at No. 18 3/2 Street, Ward 8 and No. 213 Ba Cu, Ward 4, Vung Tau City, with a organizational structure of 1 Director, 6 Deputy Directors, 7 professional and technical departments with a total of 89 positions.
The Board has the following functions and tasks: Serving as investors in projects using State budget capital, other capital sources decided by the People's Committee of Vung Tau City; representing investors in construction projects assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the People's Committee of Vung Tau City as investors; organizing the implementation of compensation, support, and resettlement; receiving land use rights transfer; developing resettlement areas... from March 1, 2025.
The Chairman of Vung Tau City People's Committee also issued decisions on appointing leaders of the Vung Tau City Land Fund Development and Investment Project Management Board. In which, Mr. Doan Hai Linh (born in 1968; Director of the Vung Tau City Construction Investment Project Management Board) was assigned to hold the position of Acting Director of the Vung Tau City Construction Investment Project Management Board and Land Fund Development Center.
At the same time, Mr. Truong Ngoc Long, Quach Thanh Long, Quach Tien Dao, Nguyen Tien Khoa, Le Manh Duong, Vu Van Quang were appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development of Vung Tau City.
