Ha Tinh - After Loc Ha district was separated and partly merged into Thach Ha district, a series of surplus headquarters have just been urged by the Provincial People's Committee to be handled.

On February 20, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province issued a document assigning management and handling of surplus houses and land in Loc Ha district (old) due to the arrangement of district-level administrative units.

The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province assigned the People's Committee of Thach Ha district to continue managing 7 surplus houses and land of the old Loc Ha district, including: District Party Committee Agency, District People's Committee Agency, District People's Committee Agency, District Political Training Center, Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center, Radio - Television Station, Department of Education and Training.

In particular, for 3 real estate facilities including the District Party Committee Agency, District People's Committee Agency, District People's Committee Agency, Thach Ha District People's Committee is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to implement management, use, protection, ensure to avoid loss, illegal occupation, degradation, and damage to assets and study and propose specific solutions to effectively handle surplus real estate facilities.

Assign the People's Committee of Thach Ha district to continue reviewing and proposing a handling plan for other surplus, unused or ineffective housing and land, or improperly used, and synthesize it to report to the Department of Finance for review and consultation on handling.

For the location of the Thach Ha district administrative center, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Finance... and relevant agencies and units to study and advise on implementation plans in accordance with regulations and actual situations, ensuring development strategies. Report the proposal to the Provincial People's Committee before March 8, 2025.

A leader of the Ha Tinh Department of Finance shared that using the headquarters in the old Loc Ha district as the new administrative center of Thach Ha district is also a reasonable option. Because the head office system there is still new, spacious, the road is spacious and airy.

In addition, for the current headquarters in Thach Ha district, if the administrative center is moved to Loc Ha district (old), the headquarters here will be easy to sell and rent because it is close to the center, near National Highway 1, convenient for business and trading activities.

As Lao Dong has informed, implementing Resolution No. 1283 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Ha Tinh province in the period of 2023-2025, from January 1, 2025, Loc Ha district will be separated and arranged into Thach Ha district and Ha Tinh city.

Of which, Ho Do commune was merged into Ha Tinh city; all 11 remaining communes and towns of Loc Ha district were merged into Thach Ha district, removing the name of Loc Ha district after 17 years of establishment.
