On February 25, according to the Supreme People's Court (SPP) Electronic Information Portal, the list of the above individuals is included in the property and income verification plan for 2025.
This is to implement the provisions of the Law on Anti-Corruption and related legal documents.
Through that, it is necessary to review the accuracy, conclude on the honesty of the verified person, control the fluctuations in assets of the person subject to declaration, and at the same time prevent, detect, and handle corruption (if any).
Also according to the plan of the Supreme People's Court, the selection of specific officials to verify assets and income will be conducted by random drawing.
The person selected to verify the assets and income meets 2 criteria: Is a person who is required to declare annually and has not been verified for the previous 4 consecutive years.
Individuals who are being investigated, prosecuted, tried and people being treated for serious illnesses are confirmed by competent health agencies; people studying and working abroad for 12 months or more are not eligible for asset and income verification.
According to the plan of the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Court Inspectorate is assigned the task of presiding over and advising on the implementation of asset and income verification activities at agencies, units and individuals selected for asset and income verification.
At the same time, preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to verify the assets and income of those with declaration obligations who are selected for verification.
Regarding the number of people subject to declaration who are subject to asset and income verification in 2025, the Supreme People's Court said that there are 70 individuals at the People's Court of the two provinces of Quang Nam who are subject to annual declaration obligations.
Of which, the number of people subject to asset and income verification in 2025 is 15.
According to the provisions of the Law on Anti-Corruption, assets and income that individuals are required to declare include: Rights to use land, houses, construction works and other assets attached to land, houses, construction works; precious metals, gemstones, money, valuable papers and other real estate with each asset worth VND50 million or more; assets and accounts abroad; total income between 2 declarations.
