Verify assets and income of 56 individuals at 5 ministries and 3 agencies

On December 19, at the headquarters of the Government Inspectorate, a random drawing was held to verify assets and income in 2024.

The Government Inspectorate randomly drew 56 individuals with positions and powers in 5 ministries and 3 agencies including: Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ministry of Justice; Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; Ministry of Health; Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; Vietnam Television; Vietnam Expressway Corporation.

Of the total 353 people from the 5 ministries and 3 agencies mentioned above, the Government Inspectorate conducted a lottery to select 56 individuals to verify their assets and income.

There are 3 individuals working at Vietnam Television; 1 individual working at Vietnam Expressway Corporation; 12 individuals working at the Ministry of Health; 10 individuals working at the Ministry of Justice; 10 individuals working at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; 5 individuals working at the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; 14 individuals working at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; 1 individual working at the Bank for Social Policies.

Speaking at the drawing ceremony, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Bui Ngoc Lam requested the units to closely coordinate with the Government Inspectorate in reviewing the entire list of individuals drawn to verify their income and assets in 2024.

According to Mr. Lam, this is the third time the Government Inspectorate has randomly drawn individuals to verify their income and assets; it is recommended that the Organizing Committee (Department 4, Government Inspectorate) coordinate with representatives of ministries and agencies to review and establish a specific list of drawn individuals to sign the minutes.

Ministries and units closely coordinate with the Government Inspectorate to review the names and specific addresses of each person so that later on, a full and accurate verification decision can be issued.

At the same time, Mr. Lam requested that representatives of the units participating in the lottery report to the leaders of the Ministry and the leaders of the agencies on all cases of their units that were drawn, so that individuals can be well prepared for the verification of assets and income later.
