The Government has just issued Resolution 09/NQ-CP on the Government Conference with localities and the regular Government meeting in December 2024.
According to the resolution, the Government has established a Steering Committee to summarize Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW to direct the reorganization of the administrative apparatus and public service units according to the motto "Refined - Compact - Strong - Effective - Efficient - Effective - Efficient".
The Government has basically completed the reorganization of the apparatus to submit to the Politburo and perfected the functions, tasks, powers, and consolidated the organizational structure of the Government; issued regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, and armed forces in implementing the reorganization of the apparatus of the political system.
Submitted to the National Assembly Standing Committee for approval 51/51 projects on rearranging administrative units at district and commune levels for the 2023-2025 period.
Inspection work, citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement, anti-corruption and negativity prevention, thrift practice and anti-wastefulness are seriously implemented.
The Government has established a Steering Committee for Waste Prevention and Control; submitted to the Politburo for promulgation a Directive on strengthening the Party's leadership in integrity education; handling post-inspection cases, recovering maximum money and assets to the state budget; implementing an online citizen reception model; directing timely and lawful settlement of complaints and denunciations.
According to the resolution, 2025 is the year of acceleration, breakthrough, and finishing; the year of starting and preparing for the 2026-2031 term and is of special importance in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. The world and regional situation is forecasted to continue to develop in a complex and unpredictable manner.
Domestically, difficulties, challenges and opportunities are intertwined, but there are more difficulties and challenges; we must both focus on achieving the highest results in the socio-economic development goals for the entire 2021-2025 term; and at the same time, we must arrange the organizational apparatus and successfully organize party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The Government, the Prime Minister and members of the Government strictly comply with the leadership of the Party, the supervision of the National Assembly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the people.
The direction and administration methods of the Government and the Prime Minister have many innovations, always closely following reality, proactively reporting to competent authorities on arising and urgent issues to have appropriate policy responses.
Promote the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common interests of the country and the people, working day and night; resolutely overcome the situation of shirking and avoiding responsibility.
Determined to build a clean, strong, streamlined, effective and efficient state administrative apparatus from the central to local levels; enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of party organizations and party members; build a contingent of cadres, especially leaders, with sufficient qualities, capabilities and prestige equal to the tasks.
In 2024, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers completed the entire Working Program of the Politburo and Secretariat by submitting 82/82 projects.
Organized more than 80 local business trips, handled more than 200 petitions; directly inspected and urged the implementation of many important and key national infrastructure projects; organized more than 1,000 conferences, meetings, and worked to handle tasks within authority.
