At the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam presented the title of "Hero of Labor" to the Supreme People's Procuracy.
On this occasion, Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Huy Tien presented the "For the Procuracy" Medal to individuals who have made positive contributions to the cause of building and developing the People's Procuracy, and honored 9 typical advanced collectives with outstanding achievements in work.
Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Huy Tien stated: After 65 years of construction and development, generations of prosecutors have always preserved and promoted the noble qualities that President Ho Chi Minh once urged: "Smart, upright, objective, cautious, and modest".
These qualities are guiding principles, motivating the People's Procuracy to continuously mature and grow, always worthy of the trust and expectations of the Party, State and people, contributing to maintaining discipline, the rule of law, protecting justice and building a democratic, fair and civilized society.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, acknowledging and warmly praising the great achievements that the People's Procuracy has achieved over the past 65 years, General Secretary To Lam stated that the role and responsibility of the People's Procuracy in the coming time is very important - one of the pillars of protecting justice in the socialist rule of law state; an important element in building a professional, modern, fair, strict, honest judiciary, serving the Fatherland and serving the people; contributing to creating a disciplined, fair, democratic, and civilized society - where justice is exercised, law is respected and the people's heart is consolidated.

Special attention is paid to building a team of prosecutors with strong political will, deep expertise, pure ethics, strict discipline, courage to protect the right, and resolutely fight against the wrong.
The General Secretary stated that each prosecutor must clearly realize that they are directly participating in the mission of protecting the legal foundation for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly practice political qualities and public ethics according to Uncle Ho's teachings.
