Continuing the 52nd session (phase 2), today (December 24), the National Assembly Standing Committee will meet to consider and decide on many important contents.
In particular, the National Assembly Standing Committee will review the report on people's petition work; review and approve the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee regulating citizen reception, handling petitions, complaints and denunciations.
At the meeting, delegates will review and approve the 2026 foreign affairs activities of the National Assembly and give opinions on the foreign affairs and international cooperation programs of the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, the National Assembly Office, the State Audit and friendly groups of lawmakers.
At the same time, this session will also consider and approve 3 Resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils.
On the same day, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and approve 2 Resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on administrative unit standards and urban classification.
The Minister of Home Affairs and the Minister of Construction will briefly present the submission on this content.
Also on the same day, the Standing Committee also summarized the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly and gave initial comments on the preparation for the 1st Session of the 16th National Assembly; reviewed and approved the work program of the National Assembly Standing Committee in 2026.
In addition to the above contents, the Standing Committee also issued remedial contents including: reviewing and approving the Ordinance amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Ordinance on Consolidating Legal Documents.
Consider and approve the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee stipulating that inspection agencies are allowed to deduct a part of the recovered and discovered through the inspectorate after paying it into the state budget.
Consider and approve the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 70 of the National Assembly Standing Committee regulating the principles, criteria and norms for allocating public investment capital from the state budget for the period 2026 - 2030.
