On February 18, Quang Nam Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Provincial Police Director on retirement and pension benefits for 22 police leaders at the department, district and town levels.
22 retired officials include: 10 heads of the Provincial Police Department, 3 heads of the District Police Department, 4 deputy heads of the Provincial Police Department and 5 deputy heads of the District Police Department.
The retirement decisions take effect from March 1, 2025.
10 department heads of Quang Nam Provincial Police have asked to retire early this time, including: Colonel Dinh Xuan Nghi - Head of the Internal Political Security Department; Colonel Huynh Quy - Head of the Economic Security Department; Colonel Tran Van Xuan - Head of the Criminal Police Department; Colonel Truong Van Mot - Head of the Criminal Techniques Department; Colonel Nguyen Dinh Hung - Head of the Logistics Department; Lieutenant Colonel Vo Van Minh - Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency; Colonel Pham Viet Tien - Head of the Department of Enforcement and Judicial Support Police; Colonel Pham Trung Phuong - Head of the Internal Security Department; Colonel Nguyen Minh Khuong - Head of the records Department; Lieutenant Colonel Quang Phuoc - Head of the Investigation Security Department.
The 3 early retired district police chiefs include: Colonel Nguyen Gioi - Chief of Dai Loc District Police; Lieutenant Colonel Tuong Van Tien - Chief of Dong Giang District Police; Lieutenant Colonel Tran The Hung - Chief of Phu Ninh District Police.
Colonel Dinh Xuan Nhi - Head of the Internal Political Security Department of Quang Nam Provincial Police said that these are officers who have been training, growing up and contributing to the People's Public Security force for 37 - 40 years.
All voluntarily wrote retirement applications even though they had 5 months to 40 months of service. Thereby, clearly demonstrating responsibility, pioneering and exemplary nature, facilitating the arrangement of a streamlined, compact, strong apparatus, operating effectively, efficiently and efficiently.

At the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Huu Hop - Director of Quang Nam Provincial Police acknowledged and highly appreciated the important results that 22 officers applying for early retirement have contributed to the overall achievements of the provincial police in the past time; at the same time, he hoped that retired officers would continue to care, follow and share valuable experiences with the People's Public Security force in general and Quang Nam Provincial Police in particular.
