On April 1, speaking with Lao Dong reporter, the National Political Publishing House Truth said that this agency had just published the book "Thu vao Nam" by the late General Secretary Le Duan.
The book was published on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
"A letter to the South" includes a number of letters and telegrams from comrade Le Duan to leaders in the Southern battlefields during the resistance war against the US to save the country from 1961 to 1975.
The book reflects the strategic vision, determination and deep concern of the key leader in the struggle for national reunification. The pages of writing not only show sharp leadership but also exude the strong patriotism and strong will of the entire nation in the historic moment.
The book's content vividly reflects revolutionary practice and the talented and profound leadership of the Party Central Committee for the Southern revolution, from practical direction of the battlefields, from assessing the situation to proposing revolutionary policies, measures and methods, which have developed extremely richly in the direction of the Vietnamese revolutionary war.
Especially the theory of implementing the two sides of political struggle and armed struggle, of combining the two sides of struggle, with the motto of "two legs", "three hands", "three regions" always firmly grasping the strategic ideology of attack and strategic goals of the Vietnamese revolution, as well as building revolutionary strength on each battlefield through different periods, contributing with the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people to fight for the US to defeat the weak, fight for the weak, and advance to achieve the final victory.
The book "A letter to the South" is a valuable document, contributing to summarizing the experience of the nation's resistance war against the US and saving the country, while contributing to continuing to educate and foster patriotism and revolutionary heroism for the younger generation in the current period.
Recently, in Hanoi, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the Truth National Political Publishing House, visited and presented the family of the late General Secretary Le Duan with the book "The Book goes to the South" that the Publishing House has just released to readers for the third time.
