Yen Bai - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision on terminating the operations of inspection agencies at departments, districts, towns and cities in the area.

This is a specific step to implement the policy of streamlining the apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation of the local government system after merging Yen Bai and Lao Cai provinces.

According to the decision, from July 1, 2025, all inspection organizations under departments and district levels will cease operations and transfer staff, assets, records and tasks to the Provincial Inspectorate.

This agency will preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to build a new organizational structure for the Lao Cai Provincial Inspectorate (new), ensuring uninterrupted inspection and examination work in the area.

The Department of Home Affairs is assigned to coordinate and guide the development of a job position project, submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval, and at the same time advise on appropriate civil servant transfers and staffing. The Department of Finance is responsible for arranging funding and working offices for the Provincial Inspectorate after the arrangement.

Provincial specialized agencies and district-level People's Committees are responsible for handing over records, tasks, assets and seals after finishing operations; strengthening inspections in management areas to ensure effective state management and prevent negativity.
