Items BTS used at the 2026 World Cup final stage raised more than 300,000 USD in FIFA's charity fundraising auction.

The charity auction to raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, organized online by FIFA in collaboration with Christie's auction house, lasting a week, has closed with a total raised amount of more than 652,000 USD (about 17 billion VND).

Notably, items associated with BTS brought in more than 300,000 USD, equivalent to about 46% of the total revenue of the entire auction, showing the group's special appeal to collectors and fans around the world.

The shirt Jimin (BTS) wore in the halftime show of the 2026 World Cup final was successfully auctioned for 110,000 USD (about 2.9 billion VND), becoming the most valuable item at the auction.

Besides Jimin's shirt, many other outfits and accessories of BTS members were also priced high.

V's scarf and Jung Kook's jacket were successfully auctioned for $46,200 (approximately 1.22 billion VND).

Suga's performance pants reached 33,000 USD (about 871 million VND), J-Hope's gloves were sold for 28,600 USD (about 755 million VND), RM's boots reached 19,800 USD (about 523 million VND), while Jin's belt was locked at 16,500 USD (about 436 million VND).

Notably, in addition to Jimin's shirt, only the official match ball used in the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina reached a price equivalent to 110,000 USD. These are also the two most valuable items in the entire auction.

In addition to BTS items, many memorabilia associated with sports and music stars were also successfully auctioned. The Argentine national team jersey with the signature of superstar Lionel Messi, once given to Shakira, was sold for 66,000 USD (about 1.74 billion VND). Madonna's signature gloves reached 41,800 USD (about 1.1 billion VND), while Justin Bieber's performance shoes were auctioned for 26,400 USD (about 697 million VND).

BTS's items were all used in the half-time performance of the 2026 World Cup final. This is the stage marking the return of all seven members after completing military service, and also the group's first performance at a World Cup final. The performance combining music, stage technology and cultural elements has become one of the highlights of the event, receiving great attention from audiences around the globe.

The fact that BTS's artifacts account for nearly half of the total auction revenue continues to show the collected value of memorabilia associated with important milestones in the group's career. In particular, the costumes used at international events such as the World Cup are considered by many collectors to be of special significance thanks to their limited quantity and souvenir value.

All proceeds from the auction will be transferred to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. This fund aims to support children in areas with many difficulties in accessing quality education, while creating conditions for them to participate in sports activities and develop in a better environment. Through the program, FIFA hopes to connect the spread of football and music to create more resources for education projects globally.
