The forum was organized by the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Organizing Committee of the Campaign "Building Vietnamese Corporate Culture", the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the Vietnam Association for the Development of Corporate Culture (VNABC).
The forum was organized to contribute to realizing the Resolutions of the Party and Government on building Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development; at the same time, affirming the position, role and importance of culture in contributing to creating a business environment, recovering and developing the economy sustainably.
The Forum is also an opportunity for Party and State leaders to meet and exchange with the business community, listen to recommendations and proposals on mechanisms and policies to support businesses to operate effectively in a multicultural environment; honor businesses that meet Vietnamese Business Culture standards; and widely spread the Campaign "Building Vietnamese Corporate Culture" launched by the Prime Minister.
Enterprises recognized as "Enterprises meeting Vietnamese business culture standards in 2024" are units that have excellently met the standards of the Vietnamese business culture criteria set selected by the National Council for reviewing "Enterprises meeting Vietnamese business culture standards". The set of criteria has been directed by the Prime Minister to ministries and branches to participate in building and has the intellectual and enthusiastic contributions of scientists, experts, business representatives and the press, especially suitable for the conditions of enterprises and the current context of integration and globalization. Accordingly, to be recognized as meeting Vietnamese business culture standards, enterprises must meet 5 main mandatory groups of standards, including: Criteria on sustainable business leadership; Building and implementing corporate culture; Respect for the law; Business ethics; Social responsibility. In addition, it must also meet 16 criteria and 40 indicators such as: Sustainable development orientation criteria, resource organization, brand communication system, knowledge management in the enterprise, business reputation, etc.
