The Vietnam Journalists Association presides over and coordinates with relevant units to organize a special art program called "A Time of Fire Flowers" Towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026).
With the pioneering role on the ideological and cultural front, this is a key political task of the press to propagate and educate revolutionary traditions, foster patriotism and the spirit of "When drinking water, remember the source" among all classes of people. The program is organized as a heroic "magical song", arousing national pride and gratitude to heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, families of people with meritorious services to the revolution, those who have dedicated their youth and blood and bones to independence, freedom and territorial integrity.
With all enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, revolutionary journalism continues to affirm its mission as a solid bridge between "the Party's will" and "the people's hearts", creating deep social consensus. Through elaborately staged performances, not only stopping at sowing in the hearts of viewers pride in the glorious historical past, the art program "A Time of Fire Flowers" also aims to arouse the aspiration to develop the country in the new period. The program contributes to strongly encouraging the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, and determination to build a peaceful, prosperous, strategically autonomous and strong Vietnam as oriented in the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress.
The program will be broadcast live on VTV2 at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Culture Palace.
