On January 16, 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training officially approved the cooperation in organizing the exam and granting the ECL German foreign language proficiency certificate between IBA Vietnam Joint Stock Company and the ECL Language Testing Center under the University of Becs, Hungary.
This decision was issued under Decision No. 315/QD-BGDDT, marking an important step forward in expanding learning and working opportunities in Germany for Vietnamese people. Reversal
The ECL ( European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages) is a language testing system developed in 1992 by a group of international language assessment experts. ECL provides a language assessment test system for 15 different languages, including German, and is widely recognized in Europe. The ECL certificate is assessed according to the European Community Language proficiency Reference Framework (CEFR), with levels from A2 to C1.
IBA Vietnam Joint Stock Company, headquartered in Hanoi, is the only unit in Vietnam authorized to organize the ECL German language exam. IBA has cooperated with the ECL Language Testing Center of the University of Becs to bring this exam to Vietnam, to facilitate students and workers who want to study and work in Germany and Europe.
